Découverte d'une pierre étrange

11/18/2008-- Eau Claire Wisconsin-- I recently purchased a mobile home and was in the process of doing some landscaping when I came across this unusual slab of rock. I noticed this unusual image right away. Just for perspectives sake it is about 12 inches in length. It appears to be some type of fossil. The outline of the head looks alien. There appears to be the hollow of a single eye socket. A sort of tentacle-like tendril emerging from the skull. Pincer-like claws perhaps. Truly an odd thing.

I thought immediately of an alien fossil. Or possibly a fairie fossil? Or maybe even some creature one might come across in the fiction of Lovecraft? Then again it may be simply an unusual etching in a piece of what appears to be riverbed stone. Either way I thought that the listeners might find it interesting.
